Overview

OGT CMS was a specially designed CMS with the goal of satisfying OGT's demands. It allows to the organization flexible content management alongside with ability to create custom application forms for wide range of event that is hosted by OGT. The CMS was built with PHP, JavaScript, Laravel, MariaDB, and Tailwind CSS. It helped the team to easily manage their news and article content, accept and handle applications, and plan events like GGJ and a number of yearly E-Sport competitions.

Problem

Problem Statement

The organization's need was a flexible content management system to operate their event, courses, and in the website, news and articles. It also required the easy-to-use, flexible, customizable application form management system to create forms for their events, courses, etc such as Global Game Jam EGE (GGJEGE), E-Sports Tournaments. The best course of action for the organization was to build their own CMS because solutions like WordPress were too restrictive when taking the organization's budget into account.
